SHEET METAL LINES
Cut-to-Length Lines are metal sheet processing lines which receive strip material. The material is then straightened, cut to length, and piled by the stacking station. The Lines are assembled as custom-built versions from standard machines and components. Changes and specifications are made according to work flow characteristics and individual circumstances. All functions can be controlled by a centralized control, and on request, can be entered and controlled via a CRT display. Cut-to-Length Lines can be designed for strip widths up to 2000mm and material thickness up to 12 mm.

Functional Description:

  • Via strip leading devices, the strip is fed from a coil loading car into the Feeder-Straightener.
  • The straightening process, with integrated strip feed, is controlled by the pulse transmitting measuring control.
  • The strips are cut to lengths.
  • Further transportation of cut material takes place via a roller path to the stacking station.
  • The cut material is then moved off the roller table, and deposited on the stacking station, which is hydraulically adjustable in height.
  • Finally, the full pallet is transferred to the roller table, on the same level as the stacking station, where it awaits further transportation by means of pallet truck.
